Unfortunately, emacsclient doesn't work with the DJGPP build of Emacs=
,
even if you run on Windows, where it could make sense.  Any volunteer=
s
to make it work?

Eshell does work in the DJGPP build of Emacs 23, even though it's bee=
n
a long time since it was hacked to do that, and I'd generally expect
the DOS support there to bitrot during that time.
