The CURSES implementation seems to do direct console output, which is to 
be expected. What I would like to do, is to write the output to a com port 
connected to an Ansi/VT100 terminal in order to debug graphics programs. 

Right now I'm a bit too busy to do it myself. Has anybody done this?
