I did actually long time ago. I just had encountered
descrepancies between the downloadable version and the
online version of the C Library Reference, which appears
to have been updated a few days ago.

You have already pointed out to me that the more recent
version is the one which contains 'stpncpy()', a function
which will be available in a future version of DJGPP.

So my simple original question has pulled me into some
research work about DJGPP C Library documentation -
and here is my conclusion, correct me if I'm wrong:

1) NEW: Downloadable version of the HTML doc found
at http://www.delorie.com/djgpp/doc/libc-docs.zip
file timestamps: Jul 31, 2001

2) NEW: Online version of the HTML doc located at
http://www.delorie.com/djgpp/doc/libc/
Jul 31, 2001 mentioned somewhere in page sources.

3) OLD: FTP version as pointed out by Eli Zaretzkii
(HTML and other format docs) , found at
ftp://ftp.iij.ad.jp/pub/djgpp/current/v2/djdoc203.zip
or
ftp://ftp.delorie.com/pub/djgpp/current/v2/djdoc203.zip
'libc.html' timestamp: Nov 4, 2000

4) OLDEST: Info version of the C Library Reference
found in the latest version of DJGPP 'djdev203.zip':
'libc.info' timestamp: Jan 5, 2000
