I think you have that backwards.  The online docs are newer; probably
more relevent to the 2.04 development sources than for 2.03.  2.03
doesn't have stpncpy, 2.04 will.

The ZIP docs on the ftp sites should correspond to the ZIP libraries
on the same sites with the same version numbers.
