Being in the constructors section of some .o file in libc.a doesn't
all by itself cause a function to be included in your linked program.
That only happens if you cause the relevant module to be linked in,
e.g. by using one of its functions.

Do you have actual evidence that this function got included in one of
your programs which didn't use <conio.h> or similar functions?
