This sounds like a VERY botched installation.  I don't think I've ever
heard about such problems before.

How about reinstalling the whole package from scratch, after deleting
the old DJGPP tree?

I doubt that.  How large is foo.c, anyway?  Can you make it available
somewhere for downloading?

Also, what does go32-v2 print when invoked with no arguments?
