I like DJGPP with RHIDE. However I need to compile a native win32 console
executable and access some functions like PeekNamedPipe().

Is this possible with DJ? Again: I like DJ it is stable and fast. And I
certainly want to keep gcc 2.95.2. because speed is most important for my
chess program.

If it is NOT possible in DJ, what's the best alternative?

- mingw32
- Cygwin
- RSXNT
- RSXNTDJ
- pgcc

Last question: would it be possible to keep RHIDE (or an equal quality IDE)
when using the alternatives?

Many regards,
Bas Hamstra.
