will help you, but to get you a simple fast start here an example:

example : bsp4a.cpp bsp4.cpp bsp4a.h
	gxx -o example.exe bsp4a.cpp bsp4.cpp

Note that there's a space after and before the :
In the second line you have to start with a TAB, spaces will give you
an error message. Some editors (like DOS's edit.com insert convert
TABs to spaces!)
Save the above example under the name Makefile

then on the command line type:

make example
