A windows/dos cross compiler would (imho) be the best option for everyone.
I'd certainly use it.

This is my point when I put down RSXNTDJ. It is not being maintained, and
your efforts are a lot better than I could could do to fix RSXNTDJ.

And I applaud you for this. You are still here with us, working to make your
product better, taking in our feedback and using it.
I think RSXNTDJ should be taken off the djgpp mirrors to stop people
downloading it and then coming to us with thousands of never-ending
questions. Rather use something like mingw32 which works first time,
everytime.
