I thought exactly the same way as you (almost) before I tried it for myself. Ok, the installation isn't very easy, but if you follow the instructions, you can't fail.. Well, the installation instructions aren't too easy, but.. Anyway, what surpriced me was that it really worked well. Because of my not so good experiences with Lcc-Win32 I thought rsxntdj is no good too. But I was wrong. If I hadn't had the chance to buy Visual C++ with the students licence, I certainly would use rsxntdj all the time.. Jarkko
