OK, thats right.
Curently I develop a Mail client for Dos.
The modul to use it under Windows (16 and 32 Bit) works very fine.
Curently I try to program a module for Packets and DR-Dos 7.03 with TCP/IP.
Also I am using some DOS-CGI's (programmed with DJGPP) on my WfW 3.11
ZB-Server.

I try to program DOS-Server (HTTP, FTP, SMTP, POP3, NNTP, NTP, ...)
The servers I have found, are too crappy and the have only some basic,
functions and the development has discontinued because 'all' people like
to use this crappy WinSuck OS with all this features like GUI, Bugs,
1 GHz CPU's, 256 MB of Ram...

I think on a integration of a newsreader in my Mail client.
But it is very difficult for me currently.

I think, that ther are TOO MUCH problems with LNF, dfe95 and NT.
I have resolved some problems of the last 2 month to LNF, dfe95 and NT
and it is very interesting, that dozens of qestions are already answerd
in the last 7 month and they are described in the DJGPP FAQ.
Sorry, but I hate it, if people are to lazy to read the documentations.
I have found DJGPP in january this year while searching for a Dos
programming tool. I have found DJGPP used the ZIP-Picker downloaded
around 70 MB's (was a little bit too much) and had installed them
described in the ZIP-Picker. Then I have changed my AUTOEXEC.BAT.
Since January I am programming C with DJGPP and it works very well
without any problems.
Hey, who has stolen our sun !!!

Webmistress Michelle
Oh yes, some of you have written and asked why I do not use Linux.
OK, since 6 weeks I have my first Linux Router running and it works
quiet well. For some days I had tried to instll a normal Linux Distribution
exactly Debian 2.1 Slink.
Very seriously.
Only the BASE from 9 Floppys (I must do it, because the CD Rom has no
driver on install time)
I was not able to get the BASE running.
I can not boot from the Harddisk.
I like to install the APACHE server only.
But I am not alone with this problem.
I have a Dos Web-Server with all basic functions.
I have installed the packet driver,
copied the Server files to a directory,
changed the config files to my web directory
and started the server.
It run.
This is why I program under plain Dos.
programs are faster and more stabil.
easier to install and can run on the oldest 386 machines.
A GUI for Dos-Programs ???
I have seen some, I think it was made with Allegro
or anything I found on SimTel C directory.
