There is a program called JPEGSRC.TAR.TGZ on
ftp.uu.net/graphics/jpeg. Also a TIFF-V3.4 TGZ for Tiff files at
ftp.uu.net/graphics/tiff. When unzipped they are about 1-2 Mbytes, and
cover Dos, DJGPP, and Linux, with makefiles.
