_dos_ds is NOT a function, it's a variable.  And it *is* documented: type 
"info libc alpha _go32_info_block" from the DOS prompt and read there.

In general, all functions should be documented in the library reference.  
If you find some function that isn't, please submit a bug report.  But 
make sure you have the latest version of the docs from djdev202.zip, 
since many such problems were corrected in DJGPP v2.02.
