You could subscribe to the 'daily digest', instead. Still roughly the
same amount of mail text, but in a single message per day. I'm not
sure if that list still exists, though.

Another alternative is to read the comp.os.msdos.djgpp Newsgroup
instead of subscribing the mailing list. Newsreader applications are
much better at filtering the stuff down to what you really want to
read.
