I have been trying to figure something out for the last month or so by =
myself with no luck. I have been learning C over the last few months so =
I'm a beginner. I have a program that I wrote that I use for shipping =
that I would like to put in some "pop-up boxes" (correct term?). My =
program uses structures to contain customer info so all I do is type in =
the customer number. It then asks things like the the ticket number, =
number of packages, package weight, etc. It then uses that info to print =
bill of ladings and labels. Not tricky except for the math on the =
weight and the zip code address. I have customers that have one account =
number and multiple shipping addresses. I would like a "pop-up box" to =
ask which address to ship to. =20
=20
I have downloaded Allegro and gone over the docs and examples without =
finding out exactly what I want.. My question is do I have to use =
graphics to achieve this or is there some simple function I could use? =
How do you retain the screen under the "pop-up box"? That is why I =
think I need to use graphics but I'm probably wrong. I'm willing to =
start at the beginning of learning graphics if that is what's needed, =
but I'd like to do that at a later date. I'd appreciate any help in the =
right direction.

BTW, DJGPP and RHIDE are great compared to MSVC that I was trying to =
learn on.
