Please also look in the indices at the end of the FAQ, if you cannot
find anything appropriate using the table of contents.  In this case,
the Topic Index has this entry:

   * STL library, not in lgp271b distribution: Section 8.7.

This is how I found it when I looked for the pointer for you.
(Contrary to popular belief, I do *not* hold the entire FAQ in my
head ;-).
