Hi. I have this VERY weird problem I would like to solve:
I have a 3D program written in Allegro. I don't have a clipping function
for 3D polys (cause me laizy and not working).
So I did this: every time I want to draw a poly I verify that the
vertices are inside the screen. If not I do not draw it. BUT, for a
weird reason, while turning, When the polys are somewhere behind me and
should not be drawn, The program crashes!
HERE comes the FUN part!
I thought the crash info was a little weird (too much text, allmost 2
times the screen size) so I gave a
redir -e err a.exe
and started turning around. The program does NOT crash anymore!! I can
turn any way I like, It works! When I go back to dos and look at the
'err' file, it contains the crash info but this time for redir (it sais
redir is the one crasing) !!
What is going on??
TIA,
