Doesn't GRX 2.0 work with Mach32 without loading VESA BIOS TSR?  AFAIK, 
Mach32 is VESA-compatible right out of the box (it has BIOS extensions on 
the board itself).  Anyway, I work with Mach32-based board in VESA mode 
(although not with GRX 2.0 yet) and it works great.

If you indeed need VESA TSR, try UNIVBE shareware program, it might be 
better.  It is available on SimTel mirrors, see the FAQ for more details.
