Subject: Garphic drivers <-> Laptop

I ran into some troubles with graphic drivers on a laptop pc:

Description:
DJGPP programs with graphics produce nice pictures, but the text (in
graphics mode) is just garbage.

I first discovered this problem with GNUPLOT.

Then I tested with some of my own programs:
Every time when text is printed in graphics mode using the default font, the
output is garbage. When I load a font from a file it works fine.

I think that the BIOS-fonts cannot be found by the program.

Some of the drivers I tested without any significant change:
built in, vesadrv.vdr, stdvga.grn, stdega.grn, vesa111.vdr, vga.grd

Any Ideas for a workaround ?
(well, I can load a font in my programs, but I'm not willing to change
GNUPLOT etc.)

Tony
