You only need wem_el.zip if you want to have the sources of the ELisp
code.  (In my experience with Emacs, often this is the only place you
can actually understand how to use a package.)  The windemo[1-4].zip
files only include the compiled ELisp code (the *.elc files) which are
enough to run them.
