DJGPP is quite happy when the computer is in V86 mode _as long_ as VCPI
is provided. If you are still using DOS 5, you need to tell EMM386 to
give you a page frame and some EMS memory. It probably isn't a bad idea to
go ahead and upgrade to DOS 6 if possible.
