- I agree with tehe packaging people (holmberg and conley).
- If you're ever looking for aid writing a newbie FAQ or something, drop
me a oiline, I'll help if I can too, and it would be good to have one
updated (my opinion)
- DJ and all others too - thanx you're great!
I now have gcc to compile code for all my UNIX platforms.
I can NOW cross-compile forrom UNIX to target DOS (thanx to DJGPP )
- Questions for DJ
Our smallish software firm is considering moving to development solely in
GCC. To support the MS-DOS platform, we would like to use DJGPP
If we use aout2exe to create standaone exe's can we ship software or maybe
better, what are the copyrite restrictions we should be aware of?
What are your plans for long-range support of DJGPP? We will be depenedadant
upon the continuing existence of an up-to-date product, which I don't doubt
will be around for a LONG time, but I'd like to know if there are any future
plans before we make our decision.
To aid in the long-range continuancence of DJGPP is there anything we can do?
It's worth our while to help you out if we're using your stuff!
- Question fofrr anyone
Does anyone know of a GCC port to OS/2? Or better yet, has anyone got a
cross-compiler setup to target OS/2 from UNIX? If I can target OS/2, then
I can use GCC on all my platforms and have one less portability onconcern to
worry about!
Thanx to everyone
