trieste, 2 apr 93

I tried to use go32.com in my system: it is an 386sx clone
with AMI bios and 4 megs of RAM. Everything worked fine in
plain MS-DOS. When I tried to run a gcc-compiled program
in the DOS-box of Win 3.1 I got the following message:

	D:\GCC\SRC\IFS>prova

DPMI: Not enough memory (0x00513000 bytes).

I then modified the PIF settings for the DOS-box giving to
it up to 6 megs of XMS memory (I have a permanent swap file
of about 4 megs) and locking both the XMS and the application
memory (these are two settings of the PIF editor) with no
results. Whats's wrong? Do I need more memory or is it some-
thing else? Could someone help, please?

TIA
