Subject: A couple of (probably) stupid questions...

Hi,
I downloaded DJGPP 1.08 a while ago - an incredible piece of work
(IMHO!) since I could even run some galaxy modelling code with it -
and all goes well but I have a couple of questions (which I apologize
	for now if they're dumb!):

	1) What is the real mode gcc (gcc16) for? I was hoping to use it
to compile programs that could be swapped out using DOS-Shell -
a naive idea in retrospect but I though I'd give it a go.

	2) I'm thinking of upgrading my 386+387 to a 486 - I'm assuming that
the math support will work in the same way - am I right?

	Ta,

		Phil.
