Subject: 1.08 ^C behaviour

I'm running djgpp 1.08 and the following just occured to me:

I had started a make (ndmake) which links about 50 object files from various
directories/drives - I'm running ftp Inc.'s redirector Interdrive thus
a mounted drive was involved too. Also I'm running win3.1 smartdrv.exe.

Right after the start I decided to type ^C which also worked but I got the
following message (System ?):

Sharing violation reading drive C:

Abort,Retry,Fail?

Just to add to the list of unidentifyable events and obscure things.
