Subject: help with go32's fatal errors
To: djgpp AT sun DOT soe DOT clarkson DOT edu

I have just started using djgpp in a 25 MHz 486 Gateway.
Small programs run fine, but when they get a little bigger,
I start to get error messages like

segmentation violation in pointer ...

exception 13 at 6bec

right now I am getting the second message when performing
a fwrite which, with the same parameters and file, works just fine
in a smaller program, in which I just commented away a loop
or a function call preceeding the fwrite.

The above mentioned messages are in the go32.exe file, so I guess they
can be useful to spot the problem. Any help
as to what to do to get the programs running will be greatly
appreciated. In particular, it would be nice to get a list of
go32's messages, their meanings, and what to do about them,
if that is not asking for too much.

Since I don't know if I am correctly inserted in this mailing list,
please reply directly to:

thanks in advance.
