Has anyone compiled the gmp 1.2 multi-precision maths library with
DJGPP? It doesn't look difficult, but there are a lot of long filenames
to fix up and the makefile is a real lash-up. Also I get a mysterious
character octal 364 appearing on line 3 of the assembler lines
when I compile it with -g, which gives a non-fatal error from
the assembler.

If anyone has compiled it, could they send me/ point me at the
.a files.
