Consider that gcc is a 32 bit compiler while TC is a 16 bit one (16 bit ints).
I don't know how portable your program was written but often in scientific
programs written by people{ut({eokd to{program {n{Fortran there are
places where type casting (double/float/int) is not used very carefully.
I'm just guessing. Try to lint your program first and see what you get
from lint.
