Subject: Which EMM emulator runs go32

GO32 seems to be happy with EMM386 but gcc seems not to like it very much.
If I have emm386 running when compiling, gcc goes off into lala land (meaning
it simply keeps running and running and doing disk access without ever finishing,
crashing or printing any messages to the screen.) Am I alone in experiencing this?
In addition on a Compaq 366/20e with only 2Mbytes of memory this happens regardless
of the presence or absence of memory managers. (I'm refering to gcc-1.07 and DOS-5.0.)
Using DRDOS-6.0 I don't have these problems. Any Ideas?

Thanks
B. King
