To be fair, GNUish was a project to bring the GNU tools to 286 and 386
machines. As such, I believe most of the software was very well-done. Interest
in GNUish has somewhat dimmed with the release of djgpp, emx, and OS2.
However, djgpp will not bring sh or shar or anything else to the 286 machines.

I mentioned GNUish for the info file, which can be a good place to start
looking for GNU utilities. Certainly, if you have a 386 or OS2, there are
perhaps better ports of the GNU stuff than GNUish. IMHO, the folks involved
in GNUish did a very fine job.
