The answer is that two (or plus) DJGPP related (distribuited or compiled) 
executables CANNOT run concurrently on the same CPU BY DEFINITION.
Infact any DJGPP related executable requires the CPU not to be in the
protected mode just to put it in such a mode.
The same problem arises when you try to run 2 programs that use the pretected
mode both! The reboot is dued (maybe) to a bug or to an incorrect "illegal
instruction" recovery procedure.
