Subject: MSDOS novice graphic mode questions

Hello all,

Being relatively new in the MS-DOS world, I find myself confronted
with things I don't really want to know about, like the weird
memory model, graphic modes and the like.

It seems to me, that djgpp solves the former and I had hoped, that
the device drivers and the GrXXX routines would hide the latter,
but alas, when I load the trident89 driver, and open a graphics
mode, my system freezes. When I don't load the driver, all I get is
the 320 x 200 mode.

Can anybody give me some hints and/or code fragment about how to
initialise the various graphic modes using the trident driver?

Thanks in advance,
Rob Hegt
