It is better to say [A-z], because DOS allows for 6 letters between
the upper-case Z and the lower-case a as drive letters (there are 32
possible drives and only 26 letters).  Those 6 letters are seldom used
(which explains why nobody seems to know about this), but sometimes
they are, in particular by Novel network redirectors.
