Subject: Textutils 1.19 ported to DJGPP
Message-Id: <Pine.SUN.3.91.960804172051.10128B-100000@is>

I've ported the latest release of GNU Textutils to DJGPP and uploaded the
source distribution (txt119s.zip, 830K) to DJ's incoming directory. Once
it's in download area, please try them.

Note that the internationalization is not yet supported (libintl.a isn't
built when you run Make). Volunteers are welcome to work on that; I'll
perhaps return to this issue later if nobody else will.

Alexander, could you please link the package with the new stdio (I
understand it's already in the latest alpha-960725 libc.a) and see if
something breaks? I don't have enough free time to do that (got to build
Emacs 19.32 and port Fileutils and Sh-utils), and it looks to me that
Textutils are an excellent test case for the new text/binary handling.
(The file DIFFS in the top directory will tell you where did I use binary
I/O and where the things are left at the default text mode.) Thanks.
