So what's the problem with installation? Can you compile a simple C++
program with -Wall switch to gcc without a warning? If so, then the
installation is OK.

Note: I don't use libgpp too much, so take the following with a grain of
salt.
I'm not sure you miss anything. It might well be that the docs that come
with libg++ 2.7.1 are incomplete or not up-to-date, at least as far as
STL goes. AFAIK, STL was added to libg++ in v2.7.1, so I can imagine
that the docs weren't updated in that version. Note that the latest
libg++ release is v2.7.2, but it wasn't ported to DJGPP yet (I'm told
that this is a non-trivial task; any takers?).
Here's what I suggest you do. First, somebody out here that knows more
than me about libg++ might give you some useful advice. If not, I
suggest you download the latest libg++ 2.7.2 source distribution from
the GNU ftp site (URL below) and look there. You could just find a
libstdc++.info or stl.info or some such there. If not, you will at least
get (1) an updated set of docs that might also describe STL; (2) a whole
lot of examples and sample code that might explain what you miss from the
docs.
If the above won't help, you could post a question to the appropriate GNU
news group.
The latest libg++ release is available from this URL:
ftp://ftp.gnu.ai.mit.edu/pub/gnu/libg++-2.7.2.tar.gz (1.6MB)
(In case you don't know: use djtar.exe to unzip .tar.gz archives.)

You can always count on a reply on this group, even if you don't threaten
us.
